What We’re Looking For: We’re searching for an experienced, high-energy Senior Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the integrated electronic security systems industry. If you’re a goal-oriented hunter with a deep understanding of access control, video surveillance, and cloud-based security solutions, we want to hear from you. You’ve crushed sales targets in the past, and now you’re looking for an opportunity to build something bigger, lead a team, and create a winning sales process that drives results.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Hunt down new business opportunities by developing new accounts, following up on leads, and cultivating relationships with existing customers.
- Security Consultation: Conduct site visits, surveys, and consultations to understand customer needs and design tailored security solutions that exceed expectations.
- Sales Process: Prepare and present compelling quotes, follow up with prospects to close deals, and ensure all sales documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain strong rapport with clients, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction both before and after installations.
- Team Leadership (Long-term Opportunity): As you grow within the company, help build and shape a high-performing sales team and sales processes that promote success and growth.
Your Profile:
- Experience: 8-10 years of proven success in sales, with a focus on integrated security systems, access control, video surveillance, and related technologies.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of security solutions, including card access, video surveillance systems, intercoms, and gates.
- Sales Skills: Excellent negotiation skills, along with the ability to prospect, overcome objections, and close high-value deals.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions in a clear, compelling way.
- Self-Motivated: Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently to hit and exceed sales targets.
- Project Experience: Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Bonus Skills: Familiarity with electrical systems, door hardware, and building requirements in the context of security installations is a plus.
- Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean background check.
