Hello, I recently moved to Hamilton and am interested in an alarm system. You came highly recommend by our State Farm and Mortgage Architects in Milton. I am looking to cover at least 6 windows and 2 doors and possible video surveillance. However my only concern is after living here for a couple months we have realized that the area is not the greatest and are not looking to stay for very long most likely a year, maximum two years. ?
How much would I be looking at spending with this reduced amount of time on a contract? We will be keeping it as a rental unit however so there is a possibility of future tenants wanting to continue with the service, would that be possible? Thank you, Michelle

To answer your question around short term monitoring we can sell you a system based on time and material but in the long run if you are planning to stay were you are for two years and potentially rent out your existing home I would certainly recommend going with one of our three year packages which are either wireless or hardwired depending on accessibility to run wire in your home. If you decide to move at year two, you can transfer the monitoring agreement to the new owner and your real estate agent can make it apart of the purchase and sale agreement. If the new owner does not agree to transfer the monitoring then you can move the system to your next home or payout the remaining term of the agreement outstanding which is typically a lot less then paying the time and material cost upfront for the original installation.
