It was released by the Office of the Fire Marshal and encourages families to have a fire escape plan in place. Titled “No Time To Spare”, it touches on the extreme importance of maintaining working smoke detectors and installing residential sprinklers.

Another way to further protect your family and home from fire is by integrating smoke detectors into your security alarm system. Whether hardwired or wireless, both options are available and will alert the monitoring station in the event of a fire. When this signal is received the central station will dispatch the fire department immediately. Especially during the night or when no one is home, this would drastically reduce the chances of serious harm being done to your family or home.
